the coffee diaries part I

I am on the search for my favorite cafe (aka "the one")
The One will have the perfect blend of ambience, service, and of course, delicious espresso.
Some place I can sketch in my notebooks...sit and people watch...think about the big questions...
I have found amazing cafes in some of my travels, but there aren't any that I can visit regularly.
I want so desperately to find the ONE, my sanctuary. I know it's out there.

This year I am making the pledge to myself to try out new cafes and coffee bars in order to find the one.
I think by the time the year is over, it will have been found!!! Hope it's local, but if not, I am not opposed to traveling a short but quantifiable distance for the perfect latte.

And so...we're off!

  1. I have no doubt that will be a fun quest! It is amazing how it can be hard to find the perfect blend of ambience, music, lighting and of course coffee!

  3. That sounds like a fun search, can't wait to see more pictures of lattes. I have found a really great one near school except the clientele are extremely old, weird and smelly. They do however make the most perfect dirty chai.

  4. Ohmygosh. I love this post because I'm a coffee addict. I saw this thing on Starbucks that was a coffee journal. So you can write about the coffee's you try and wear they are from and rate them. I thought it was really cute and I wanted one but they were a limited time thing.

  6. State College? Did you go to PSU or just passing through? When husband and I are next there we will have to be sure to check it out (as I am now a coffee junky)!

    Good luck with your adventure:)
