home made facials (thanks to mom)

My mom occasionally surprises me by concocting the coolest home-made facial masks

and leaving them for me to try. This honey, sugar and oatmeal mask is amaaazing, and it was the perfect

mid-winter pick-me-up. I am so impressed by her intuition to mix ingredients. This mask is perfect.

You'd think it would be drippy, but the honey creates a firming effect and leaves skin feeling taut and soft.

The sugar is a delightful little exfoliant, as well as the oatmeal.

Plus, after applying it, you can lick your finger clean! Mmm. Is that weird?

There isn't a set recipe - just mix the three ingredients with a teaspoon until you reach your desired globby consistency.
